“Arrabbiata” is a typical sauce from centre of Italy, in particular from the city of Rome.  It is a funny name for a sauce because in Italian being “arrabbiato” means to be angry! The name derives from the fact that eating pasta with this type of sauce, you risk, because of the chilli, to become red, just like when you get angry (I know… Italians are vulnerable to spicy food ahah).

It is very good with any kind of pasta and can be used as well as base in the preparations of “Pollo alla Cacciatora” (a super yummy Italian receipt!)
